Mission Statement

Top Totz provides a warm, caring atmosphere that will encourage children to develop socially, cognitively and emotionally to their fullest potential.

Children are regarded as individuals and their rights and needs are our prime consideration. At Top Totz, we set out to assist all children attending to attain their maximum potential within their perceived capabilities.

We provide a carefully planned curriculum set out in Te Whaariki enabling all children to participate in a wide variety of activities and learning experiences, which cover all areas within Early Childhood Education  programme and Desirable Objectives and Practices 1996. These experiences will assist in developing all children to grow up as competent and confident learners and communicators, healthy in mind, body and spirit, secure in their sense of belonging and in the knowledge that they make a valued contribution to society.

We recognise that children develop best in a warm, safe, caring and stimulating environment and therefore staff ensure that all children feel valued  and that parents and families/whanau feel confident in the knowledge that they are being provided with quality childcare.
